- This worked for me using the Windows SDK v6.0A on Vista. It may also work for other versions and other operating system versions but I didn't test that.

Problem using fuslogvw.exe
In case you try to use the Fusion Log Viewer (fuslogvw.exe) and you can't change the Log Settings because they are all disabled then simply run the application as an administrator.
To make things really easy just create a shortcut to fuslogvw.exe and modify the shortcut properties (right mouse click). In the "Compatibility" tab tick the box for "Run this program as administrator".

I'm having a problem with FusLogVw. Any builds coming out of Visual Studio 2010 are not creating logs. On the same machine if I kick off an app created with VS2008, I get a logs that FusLogvw can read. Have you seen this problem?
